Welcome Home!

Lily leaving the hospital
Welcome home baby girl! I am a little late in posting this, but as you can see, we were able to bring our Lily home - what a relief! She is so adorable - I can't believe how much we love her! She has been doing so well since being home. She sleeps so good (the hospital had her on a great schedule) and is eating like a champ. She has gained back almost all of the weight she lost - and that is such a huge relief. She really is an easy baby....we are really lucky. I can't believe how much a lifestyle change having a baby is. I was constantly being told that, but never really believed it....and it is so true! Although we are so tired, and it is an adjustment, we wouldn't change it for the world. Believe it or not, it is a 'reward' to get up at night and see her cute little face. Anton is so amazing with her - he helps out so much and is so hands on. I am so lucky! Here are some pictures over the past few days...

Her first bath - not a fan of that. But she does like to have her hair washed!

With her papa. She loves to stretch out her neck!
With her Nana on Mothers Day

Happy Mothers Day!

Yeay, I am glad she's home where she belongs. So, the whole lifestyle change is really true huh. Well..I guess I can't say I am in denial, but more like a "jaw dropping reaction" to the whole fun to get up in the middle of the night thing. She is adoreable!

Hi Liz, it's Jane {Baranowski} Lee. Remember me? Anyway, I found your blog from some of my other friends' blogs. I'm so glad your sweet Lily finally got to go home. My first baby was an emergency c-section and everything ended up being pretty scary. My sweet little Max was in the NICU for 4 days and nothing is worse than having your baby in the NICU. Glad we both have strong munchkins. Enjoy being a mom.
