Update!

I thought it was about time to give an update - for all 5 of you readers out there! :)

First and most exciting: Baby Brog. Nope, it hasn't made its little debut yet - but it could be here any day. I will spare you all the lovely details, but with the way I have been progressing, the doctor thinks that our little baby will be here on "May 2nd"....but, who really knows when this baby will decide to make its debut! I have been feeling good - but not excellent. The last few weeks I have been pretty uncomfortable, so for that reason alone, I am looking forward to the baby getting here. We will keep everyone posted if anything happens. But, like I said - who knows when it will be - its all up to Baby Brog!!

Anton is walking for graduation on Friday - and I am so excited to see him in his cap and gown! He didn't walk when he got his undergrad, so it is kind of fun that he has decided to walk this time. Friday should be a fun day - I am excited for it! Anton is loving his 'new' job. I say new only because I don't think I ever mentioned he got a new job. He is so happy there - he loves what he does, loves the people he works with...he loves just about everything about it! I couldn't be more happy for him.

Things with me are good! I don't have much to report that I haven't already mentioned. We have been busy getting our house prepared for the new little addition. When I say 'we', I really mean Anton. He has done so much work on the house lately....he sanded down and refinished all the hardwood floors, wired and installed a beautiful new light in our living room, fixed the electrical work for the garage, painted the nursery, and the most recent project...which is getting the yard all ready for this spring/summer!

So, that is a short little run down on whats happening in our household! We will keep you posted if anything happens!!

Bragging!

How about how cute these pictures are?! I think I have some pretty cute nieces and nephews - and this is only half of them!

I'm sorry, what did you just say??

Last night, we are at the table eating dinner....here is how our conversation went:

Liz: "So, I was thinking that for your family baby shower, they could get us the high chair, since we bought the car seat already."

Anton: "Oh, well I was thinking they could get us the baby kennel."

Oh really....a baby kennel? At first I just stared at him, wondering what in the world he just said, then I couldn't help but break into uncontrollable laughter...and lately, when you get me laughing, I can't stop. So, Anton thinks we should get a baby kennel....also known as a portable crib. So funny!

Not Yet

Apparently baby Brog thinks it wants to come into the world right now....or pretty soon. A little early for that if you ask me. Lets hope and pray this little person doesn't make its debut for a while. Its just too early!

April Fools!

What a funny day April Fools is! Thinking I was funny, I told Anton that I was in labor - but, he didn't fall for it. Not even a little bit. Anyway, out of all the funny stories I heard, this one tops it all. CNN did an article stating that "Snoop Dogg has reportedly converted to Mormonism". Here is a little snip-it for your enjoyment...."Though Snoop Dogg has been hesitant to publicly discuss his recent spiritual journey, he commented on the experience of attending his first “Family Home Evening” in a recent interview with People Magazine.
“I was hooked from the start,” Snoop Dogg said. “We talked about the purpose of life, played Mousetrap, and ate brownies. The kids thought it was off the hook, for real.” The whole article is so funny. In my book, this one takes the cake for the funniest April Fool's Joke....guess a lot of people thought the same thing, because it ended up getting 1st place for the Best April Fools joke!
(And, no worries, the article was very nice about Mormons...or I wouldn't have thought it was funny.)

Also, on a different note, with me leaving work for the baby - we are in the process of finding someone to replace a little bit of what I do here. If you know of anyone looking for a part time job...please let me know!
