It is about time I posted some more pictures and gave all of you an update on our darling Lily. As some of you may know, but most probably don't, we don't have her home yet. With her coming a month early, there were some complications due to her weight and temperature that has caused her to have to stay in the NICU. She has showed so much progress within the last 24 hours, so it is a happy day! We can't WAIT to get her home - we are hoping that she can come home this weekend - but we are taking each day at a time. I am feeling really good - and recovering from my spinal headache which happened because of my epidural. I really believe all the prayers and fasts that went out in our behalf this past Sunday are really helping. Lily is such a funny little girl - she already has a funny personality. She is so sweet and well tempered. She rarely cries...just when she is hungry, wants her binks, or needs a diaper change. Anton is the master diaper changer! He has been so amazing through all of this. Once I was discharged from the hospital, he would go visit Lily ever single night - in the middle of the night - so I could rest and recover....sometimes he would go twice a night. Lily loves to hear Antons voice - as soon as she hears it, she turns her head to try and find him and just stares at him. It is the cutest thing! I speak for both of us - we absolutely love our little Lily. The love we felt for her was instant. Even though we don't have her home yet - we can't imagine our lives without her. What a joy she has been. I have been so blessed to have such an amazing husband whom I love more than words can describe, and now I have the most beautiful little girl who is the greatest blessing from above. I'm so glad you gave us an update. I haven't wanted to call and bug you, I know being a new mom is overwhelming enough let alone to be going through all you are. You're in my prayers and I love you and I'm just around the corner if you need me.

She is absolutley beautiful! I can't believe that head of hair! I am glad to hear that she is doing well and improving everyday! We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

It's Katelyn Banks (now Hunt). My mom told me about you and little Lily the other day and I had found your blog once before linking through Julie...I wanted to come say congrulations! Since our moms our like BFF's I hear about you every once in a while! She is beautiful! and that hair really is amazing! I've been thinking about you since I talked with my mom, I hope she continues to improve, I'll keep you both in my thoughts!
Oh, you got a spinal headache? That sucks, my next door neighbor got one when she had her daughter, and it didn't go away for 2 weeks. She was miserable, I can't imagine what you had to go through! I am so glad the little one is doing well, I didn't realize she was so early. Get as much sleep as you can, while you can. I'm still getting up 4x per night and my kid is 5 months old!
We so hope you will be able to bring her home soon. It is such an exiting time for the two of you. It helps to have a supportive and understanding husband. You let me know if he's not performing up to par:) Love the pictures and keep us updated whenever you get a second.
First Anton I love the hair cut. Nice and stream line. I am glad to hear that Lily is doing well and we are thinking about and praying for you guys. Keep up the good work. Keep us posted.

I'm so sorry to hear there have been any complications. I know from experience how stressful it can be to have your first baby in the NICU; Reagan was 7 weeks early and spent 19 nights there. Although it was hard to leave her there, I tried to look at the positive by using the time to rest and recover (and sleep!). Now she's 2 1/2 and you'd never know she was preemie! I hope all goes well and you get to bring that gorgeous girl home soon ... I'll be thinking of you guys!

P.S. I can't believe how much hair she has! Avery is 6 months old now and still doesn't have nearly that much hair!

What can I say that hasn't already been spoken...except..Was Anton wearing a sweater vest in May? Don't get me wrong Anton, I do like it, but aren't you hot? Like I said before she is beautiful like her Mommy and of course that would include all the hair! I love her already even though she hasn't met her "auntie" Jenny yet. I am relieved to know that things are looking better for the lot of you. You have been in our hearts and prayers and will continue to be. Props to Anton for paying the most frequent Daddy visits to the NICU. What a STUD...No Anton, I'm being serious this time. Love you guys

Liz! She is so gorgeous!!! Her hair looks just like Pierce's did! They could be the cutest little boyfriend and girlfriend! I wish we lived closer. I'm going to be in town in June. Hope we can see you!

I'm a friend of Anton's from college, and was just wondering what he is up to, so I googled him and found you. Congratulations on your darling baby! I hope she gets to come home to you soon. You three make a very beautiful family and I'm happy to see Anton doing so well!
