3 weeks

Little Lily is 3 weeks old today! It has been so much fun to be home with Lily. She is such an adorable baby....and a sweet baby. Anton and I are so lucky to have her....and we are having so much fun getting to know her! We are so lucky to be her parents! Love you Lily!
I have to say thank you to Anton. With the adjustment of motherhood, and my postpartum emotions setting in, Anton has been so patient with me and so amazing with Lily. Even though he has to get up and go to work, he still gets up with Lily to change her diaper or calm her down if she is fussy, and he always takes one of the 'feedings' by giving her a bottle, so I can get some sleep. It has been such a huge adjustment, and I know it has been hard having me so consumed with Lily...yet he never complains. So, thank you Anton. I love you and I am so grateful for you and all that you do for me and Lily!

I'm glad to hear you're adjusting pretty well. It is quite the adjustment and can be really hard at times so it's awesome you have such a great husband! That's so great that he gets up with the baby in the middle of the night. Brock says that sounds like Anton as "he's one of the most selfless guys he's ever known." You guys are such a cute family and Lily is absolutely gorgeous! I love all her dark hair!

I am so glad you have such a sweet husband who is there for you! I am dang happy that its not 1950 and men don't pitch in with things like that. My niece is named Lily and I love that name, she is so cute.

So Lizzy what is the 'postpardum' really like. It makes me a little anxious to hear that some women really have a harder time battling it than others. It sounds like it hasn't been too bad for you, which is good. Anton, once again you never cease to impress the Ladies in your life (no, just your two ladies Liz and Lily)LOL he he. Good going sport!

Look at that little face! Is that a male hand in that picture? She is so tiny! I can't believe it has been 3 weeks. I always loved getting up with Isaac in the middle of the night. I hardly slept even when he was sleeping because I was always so worried whether or not he was breathing. Still worry about that. I don't think the worrying every stops though. You are doing great and you and your little family look so happy.

I am so excited for you guys. I will never forget the 2nd day we were home w/Sophia and we had just taken her to the doctors and we both started to cry like big babies! I think we both had postpartum :) It's amazing the adjustment you go thru- both good and bad. I'm happy to hear you are doing so well. LOVE YA. Let me know if I can help!

You know all about my postpartum woes. Hang in there, it only gets better each day. It was also much better with my second. Can't wait to see you...maybe in St. George soon.

Lillian is a lucky little one to have such delighted and devoted and darling new parents. It has been fun to watch you two with her - you are so confident yet careful; happy yet tired; and have felt the love and support of neighbors and ward members. What a sweet time! She is a little doll, and we love her like she has always been part of us. Can't imagine life without her - and she isn't even due yet! It's been a sweet reminder of the incredible and wonderful gift we have to be in families. Who could have thought up such a plan?
I love you three Brogs! Mom
