Happy Birthday Anton

Happy Birthday to this guy today! Some of my favorite things about him:
*He is such a good partner for me. He has helped me grow and has helped me gain confidence in places where I fall short. He is my biggest fan.
*He works so incredibly hard for our family. He works hard all day, gets a quick workout in after work, and makes it home for dinner every single night, then right away gets started on the second job. He doesn't complain, he just quickly works so he can spend the evening with us.
*He is so handsome!
*He is funny. He makes me laugh every day.
*He is such a honorable, good guy.
*He can "Man Up" and take credit for his mistakes.
*On Saturdays or when we are just hanging around the house, he always offers to stay with the girls so I can get some time away.
*He is so dependable. He is always there for our families, the people in our ward and neighborhood, and his office when they need him.
*He is such a cute dad. For example the other day, I left to get my hair cut. As I was leaving I heard Lilly ask him if he wanted to play Legos with her. I heard him say "I would LOVE to play Legos with you!". They had brand new Legos set up on the table when I got home. He snuggles them, he loves them, he teaches them, he plays with them, and the ADORE him. Its a party every single day when Daddy walks in the door from work! Its the cutest sound in the world.
*He adores and loves me, and makes me feel so beautiful.

I love him, and appreciate him more each day.
Happy Birthday Anton!
We love you so much,
your girls

Happy 4th!

The 4th of July has always been, and always will be one of my favorite holidays. There are few things better than a summer evening in Utah...and you throw in all the perfect American things such as swimming, BBQ's, fireworks...makes for a perfect holiday!
Our day went as follows:
*Breakfast at Nana & Papa's. So fun! Unfortunately I forgot my camera.
*Anton took the girls up to Lagoon to meet his family who in town. I went to a movie with my family. We saw The Avengers. Very entertaining, I must say!
*Went out to dinner for a good old fashioned American meal: Burger, Fries and Cokes! (it was too hot to sit outside and grill)
*Came home, did bath time, and ventured outside to start the fireworks.
This year it was quieter in our neighborhood than most, but still great, and still had some wonderful neighbors over to enjoy the night. And, The Cottonwood Club's fireworks are always a good show. But what makes the holiday great is spending it with people we love. We were with the people we love most, all day long - it was a great day!
I am so grateful for our beautiful country. Happy 4th!

Nice and clean, ready for fireworks!

Showing Kathy how awesome they are at "Pops!"

Claire enjoying Sparklers. (thanks to pinterest for the idea of the cup - so little hands don't get burned)

...keeps taking off her pants. She is getting so ready for potty training. Ugh, I'm not.

I know this picture is blurry, but I thought it was so cute. Cutest kids - look how hard Claire is laughing!
