18 Months

It is hard to believe that my little buggy has gone from this...to this...in what seems like such a short amount of time. She is finally big enough to sit forward facing in the car, and she LOVES it! I love it too. It is so fun to be able to look back and see her cute little face. She just sits and talks to me as I drive along. I love it.

For my records, some of my favorite things she is doing now are...

*As I have mentioned before, Lilly is a chatter box. Her little voice and her little language are so adorable.
*She screams when Antons comes in the door from work. Especially if he surprises her.
*There is a rock in our front yard that is bowl shaped. She thinks it is her chair. She sits in it almost every day.
*She loves to play with stickers. She sits on my lap and we play with stickers sometimes for 45 minutes.
*"Muh"(more), "Say Who" (thank you), "Uh Oh", "BaBa", "Cow", "Mmm" (moo), "Ad Da" (all done).
*When I read Good Night Moon to her at night, she puts her little finger to either my mouth or her mouth, when I read the part, "And good night to old lady whispering Hush". I love it!
*When she is showing off, she walks around with her hands behind her back, and pushes out her belly.
*She could stay in the bath for 45 minutes if I would let her. A time or two, I have changed the water so it is nice and warm for her so she can stay in longer.
*"Throw it in the oven for Baby and me", and she throws her hands up over her head.
*I was feeding her oatmeal the other morning and I told her she had three more bites left. I started counting, "One,"and she goes "twoooo". I was SHOCKED! Of course she kept doing it then, but now I can't get her to do it for the life of me.
*She still loves to be outside, even if the weather is cold.
*Her very favorite thing at the playground is the slides. Santa might have to get one for her for Christmas.

I could go on and on. She is such a handful, and so incredibly busy, but absolutely the love of our lives. Love you Buggy!

Welcome Fall!

To bring in the fall weather yesterday...

*Lilly and I put up our Halloween decorations.
*I decided to be Betty Homemaker and make...homemade rolls, White Bean Chili, and festive cupcakes. Lilly helped stir the cupcake batter. She also helped by devouring a cupcake. She hasn't had cake since her birthday...she thought it was rather tasty!
*Got Lilly in a nice hot bubble bath and into her winter jammies...they are a little big, but oh so cozy.
*Had a little "fall" treat delivered to us by Lilly's favorite babysitter!
*Put the comforter on our bed that was put in storage for the summer. Man, I slept so good with that on.

Welcome, October! Ah, I love this month!!

Much Better

Wow. That was a fantastic pitty party! Feeling much better by the way. On Sunday morning, I woke up for the first time feeling good. What a great feeling! Thank you for all your kind words of encouragement. I feel silly I was so dramatic, when life could be so much worse. I am blessed to have such wonderful family and friends who encourage me to keep my chin up, when I am feeling a little down. Also, I think it helped that we had a wonderful weekend full of hiking at Snowbird, laughing hysterically until I was crying, cheesecake (my favorite!) and a visit from a dear friend, yard work, swimming, and movies. It's a good life!

Tears

I had a breakdown this morning. I got out of the shower, and sat down on the toilet and cried. I cried and I cried. I am sick and tired, of being sick and tired. I hate not feeling myself. I hate that my life feels chaotic...my house is always dirty because I don't have the energy to clean...I haven't enjoyed cooking for my little family....laundry is just sitting in its basket waiting to be put away...you get the point. But what I hate most...I hate doing this to my little family. Poor Anton and Lilly have to put up with me not feeling good all the time. And, it is Friday. Friday is always such a fun day in our house. It is the day for Lilly's Gymboree class and it is our day and our night to always go do something fun. I WANT to go do something fun, but I am so drained, and I don't feel good. Its like I just don't have it in me to do anything. Nothing. It makes me sad. I hate it. It made me feel like a mean mom that I didn't want to go to Gymboree with Lilly. I know, I know...I need to get over it. And, I will. I just needed a good cry.
