Books

Recently, Lilly has loved reading books together. She loves to turn the pages, and look at every picture. Sitting down with her, and snuggling with her while we read books, is such a precious time. For Lilly's birthday my brother gave her the most adorable book. It is called "What I Like About Me". Absolutely darling. The message of the book is so sweet and so important. If you have a little one, be sure and find this book, you will be happy you did! I love this book!
What are some of your favorite children's books? I would love to get some more books for Lilly's collection!

Fancy Nancy! She might not be into Fancy Nancy for a few years, but it is the cutest series of books ever. Stella loves them and had a Fancy Nancy birthday party last year and now all her friends love Fancy Nancy.

I am a huge book fan when it comes to having little guys. It's so important.

Hooway For Wodney Wat and The Hiccupotamus are two of our very favorites. Luke and I read to Izzy and Bucky from the time they were babies, and still read to them every night--it's my favorite time of the day!

I haven't heard of that book, but I'm thinking I may just have to get it.

My little C's got over 50 books. His mommy loves reading and I can't help but try my hardest to instill a love of reading into the little guy. :)

My favorites (and his too) are

Horton Hatches the Egg by Dr. Seuss. AMAZING message, seriously makes me cry. I'm such a baby!

Also-

Are You My Mother? by P.D. Eastman. From that book, C calls me "mudder" know. Funny but so adorable. :)

I'll have to check out the one you recommended, too...

Oh man I have tons of good books to recommend. I used to be a school teacher, so I've got loads up my sleeve. I'll have to send you an email!
About the fireworks though... we go to the Salt Lake Country Club. You don't have to be a member to go either. It is so much fun and such a great atmosphere.
(what a small world, we live really close to willow creek though!)
