...the dirt tastes so good! 
Aaahhh, the weather is finally nice!! We worked on our yard all day Saturday, and it felt so good to be out enjoying the beautiful weather. Lilly was amazing...she stayed outside with us all day long. She loved it. As you can tell by the pictures, she liked getting in the dirt. She would get ticked off when I would grab the dirt from her hands. Funny little thing. On another note, last week we went and bought an "infant carrier" (I don't even know if that is what they are called) that Anton can use to take Lilly hiking with him. We broke it out today for the first time, and Lilly went nuts. She flapped her arms and kicked her legs for almost the entire walk. She was in heaven. She is at such a fun stage right now. Anton and I say over and over all the time, "what about how awesome our daughter is" or "honestly, I don't think I could love her more"...and we really mean it. She is our world. It is hard to believe that in 10 days, our baby Lilly is turning ONE! I am not sure how I am feeling about it either :)
(We realized after the fact, that her arms are supposed to go under those straps. We struggle.)

Under... Over... it all works! ;) Those are the best! I really can't believe she'll be O-N-E... time goes by way too fast! She is such a doll Liz, just like her Mommy... I love you girls! Well I hope the party plans are done b/c THIS (yes, this) weekend is all about "The City!" We are making our own MTV show & you know people would love it too! ha ha! Well, freak... I can't wait!! Call me so we can figure out when we are leaving! Love your guts!
I was thinking in the shower TODAY that she will be turning one so soon and she is still so small. She is darling and I am so glad the weather is finally shaping up for you. I couldnt believe it was still dumping snow in April.
Those baby carriers are great, especially when you have another one. You can put one baby in the carrier and still have your arms to keep up with another one. I'm glad the weather is finally nicer there. I always say this, but it seriously saves me with kids. It is so nice to take them outside and get them out of the house. I can just imagine Lilly getting so exicted in her new backpack. She is such a pleasant baby. You are lucky to have her, and she is lucky to have you. It goes by too fast. I can't believe my baby is 4today. Didn't I just bring him home from the hospital?
She is way too small to be turning one! I can't believe it has approached already! And what is it with kids and dirt? Isaac gets so mad when we have to go inside and of course he is covered in dirt. Kids are so fun.
that is awesome! this way she doesn't feel so contrained - right?
so let's talk about this turning one business - ARE YOU KIDDING ME! that is crazy. i swear it feels like it was just yesterday she was being born, the boys were graduating and the weather was warm for more than 4 days in a row.
happy early birthday lilly, you are such an angel! you have brought so much joy into not only your mommy and daddy's lives, but to all of us that have been able to watch you grow into this even more beautiful little girl. love you!!!
