My little love is 7. I can't believe it! I have such a hard time grasping the fact that my baby is no longer a baby. I still snuggle her, and pick her up just like she is a little bug...and I will do it as long as she lets me. So far, she loves the snuggles as much as I do! Thank goodness!
We had such a fun day celebrating our favorite Claire Bear. She had just a few requests for her birthday: A big teddy bear (she got a bunny instead) and an ocean cake. Easy peasy! All this kiddo wants to do is ride her scooter, and when she saw our neighbor with the big razor scooter she begged for one. I kept telling her that I wasn't going to get one for her because she had the little one, but when it came down to it I figured what was the harm...it keeps her active and she genuinely loves riding around on her scooter. So, when we surprised her with the big one, she was SO excited!
Nana & Papa came over to take her to lunch and let her open some of their presents. Later that day, we let her decide where she wanted to go to dinner. She chose Mexican (no surprise!), so we decided to go to El Chihuahua which was fun. Then we came home and had cake and did a family movie night and watched Fantastic Beasts. It was so fun. I love doing things like this with our little family.
Claire is such an adorable and funny little girl. She makes us laugh all the time. The joy she brings into our lives is immeasurable! She is such a quirky and sweet little thing. A few of her favorite things:
