Happy 4th!

The 4th of July has always been, and always will be one of my favorite holidays. There are few things better than a summer evening in Utah...and you throw in all the perfect American things such as swimming, BBQ's, fireworks...makes for a perfect holiday!
Our day went as follows:
*Breakfast at Nana & Papa's. So fun! Unfortunately I forgot my camera.
*Anton took the girls up to Lagoon to meet his family who in town. I went to a movie with my family. We saw The Avengers. Very entertaining, I must say!
*Went out to dinner for a good old fashioned American meal: Burger, Fries and Cokes! (it was too hot to sit outside and grill)
*Came home, did bath time, and ventured outside to start the fireworks.
This year it was quieter in our neighborhood than most, but still great, and still had some wonderful neighbors over to enjoy the night. And, The Cottonwood Club's fireworks are always a good show. But what makes the holiday great is spending it with people we love. We were with the people we love most, all day long - it was a great day!
I am so grateful for our beautiful country. Happy 4th!

Nice and clean, ready for fireworks!

Showing Kathy how awesome they are at "Pops!"

Claire enjoying Sparklers. (thanks to pinterest for the idea of the cup - so little hands don't get burned)

...keeps taking off her pants. She is getting so ready for potty training. Ugh, I'm not.

I know this picture is blurry, but I thought it was so cute. Cutest kids - look how hard Claire is laughing!

Your little family is so cute. You guys are such awesome parents!

Quick question for you. Ryan and I are going to Costa Rica next summer for our 10-year anniversary. I know you have been a couple times and we were wondering if you had any recommendations on where to stay.
