Today, while I was driving in my car, I was playing a Lullaby CD a friend had given to me the previous night. There is a particular song on the CD that I just LOVE. Lilly and I were driving along listening to it, and she was looking out the window when all the sudden, she started singing along. Her little voice sounded like an angel. As I was watching her in the rear mirror, smiling, she caught my eye and gave me a big smile...then went back to singing and gazing out the window. It was the most tender little moment. I couldn't help but get emotional. She is so sweet and innocent, it completely melted my heart.
It is the simple moments like that, that really make me love and treasure being a mom. I am madly, crazy and happy in love with my little Lilly Bug.

I am smiling so big right now. I almost feel responsible for that moment. Almost like I was the one who taught Lilly those words...

i like julie can't help but smiling. (i can not however take credit for the moment, as i'm sure neither can she...!)it really is those little moments that make this adventure so worth while. i'm so glad to have this avenue to record them!
