Last night I "officially" became a Mother. I have always heard of moms being up all night long with a sick child, but had never experienced it myself. I wondered if I would ever have to go through that. Sure enough, my time came. I was up until the wee hours of the morning trying to soothe a crying, screaming, moaning, coughing, wailing, miserable teething little girl. I tried everything. Finally, I caved. Into bed with Mom and Dad. It helped her calm down enough to go back into her own room...around 4:00 am.
I need a nap.

Oh man poor thing... I honestly give mothers my full respect. Get some rest Lizzy.
Hey next time feel free to call me, I'm sure I'll be up as well!! Poor girl, teething is not fun, hopefully she'll let you get some sleep cause you don't have to long til your a new mom again and that is very sleepless!!
I think the best medicine for a sad sick baby is mom and dad's bed.
Oh dear. Tessie pulled a little something of this nature a few weeks ago, "our" bed is too my last resort, but sometimes, really, it must be done! I do remember sneaking into my mom and dads bed sometimes when I was sick or scared, it did provide a level of security and all around betterness if I my memory serves me correctly. Fisher Family may be right! Get a nap in today!
Sad Baby girl. I haven't done that since she was still real tiny. It is good to know that mommy's bed will most likely help calm her for future reference. I hope she feels better now.
