When I was pregnant with Lilly, I had so many people tell me how much I would hate my dogs after Lilly was born. My first thought when they would say that was, "how sad and cruel to feel that way about your dog", then my second thought was "I hope I don't end up feeling that way about my dogs". My feelings toward my dogs haven't changed one bit. I love them as much as I did before. Of course my love for them doesn't even compare to the love I have for Lilly, but I still love them...they are part of our family! Recently Lilly has been really interested in the dogs. She loves to watch them eat their food, laughs at them all the time, and loves to pull on Coopers beard and ears. He is such a sweet little guy...he just sits there and lets her pull and pull. Diva on the other hand is a little afraid of Lilly and her quick little hands. Here is a video of Cooper and Lilly that I took this morning. Cooper is always right by Lilly...I think he kinda likes her :)

WoW, your dog actually likes to be around your child for more than 5 seconds! Oaklee doesn't really care much for Taedon longer than that, but I know he'll learn to love him! I'm so impressed to that he'll allow her to pull on his ears and her doesn't even care...what a good doggie! Ok and my dog doesn't get the attention he used to get, dang it, I'll try harder! ;) So good to see you girls last night... can't wait till next Friday! xoxo
I think it is so important for kids to grow up with a dog. I love dogs. I want to get another one but Stella is allergic! I took her to see my friends portuguese water dog yesterday becasue they are hypoallergenic and when we were about to leave her eyes started itching and she started sneezing. I am so bummed. I don't know what to do now. Dang allergies!
that is so sweet! i can't wait to get a dog when we move (i'm even getting aaron to like the idea!).
they teach kids so much about life, responsibility and loyalty. good for you that you haven't stopped loving them!
What a cute video. I can't believe he just sits there. I love her little "Lilly" noises too.
That is cute that he just hangs around her. I hate my cats by the way. I feel terrible about it, but it is just the way it is. Isaac adores them and they love to be around him. They let him roll all over him, I think I just get annoyed with all the cat hair that gets on his clothes after playing with them. I think it would be much different with a dog though.
