Sub for Santa

My family has been involved with a refugee organization here in Salt Lake. We have been asked to find some beds for families that are sleeping on the floors of their homes. If any of you have anything or a slightly used mattress that is sitting in storage that you might be willing to donate, please let me know and we can arrange to pick it up and have it delivered.

Also, if you are thinking you would like to do a Sub for Santa this year with your family or youth group, let me know! There are 90 refugee families that we would like to find Sub for Santa's for.

And, starting in January, the Refugee Center will be doing tours. It may be a neat experience to take your youth group or your family to hear some of the stories of the refugees. So, if you are interested in any of this, please let me know! And, pass on this information to anyone you think might be interested! Thanks!!

That is awesome that your family is doing that. My family takes one family every year and my mom has already found one for this year. I think stuff like that makes Christmas so much more meaningful.

We don't have a mattress but we do have a brand new pop-up trundle frame (twin) that we bought a few years ago and it's just been in storage (we bought a different bed than planned so it's never been used). If you think they could use it let me know and I'll make sure it's ok with Ryan and you guys can have it.

I suck! I just read this passage and am now responding. My family is doing Sub for Santa this year so I'll ask Kia if she has found a family yet. She is the sister in charge of finding a family, or last I heard anyway. I will let you know soon I hope. Although, I wouldn't hold your breath. I have been known to be somewhat scatter-brained as of late. I may just be a tad bit on the crazy side too.
