This was one of the most incredible things we have ever seen!! We stayed up to watch the men's 4x100m freestyle relay....especially once we heard that France was going to "smash" the Americans. Unreal! I was on the edge of my seat, waving my hands saying "hurry, hurry hurry!", and Anton was standing up with his hands on his head....once we saw the screen say that America had one the gold, we cheered and yelled! I thought for sure Lily would wake up because of how loud we were. It will go down as our favorite Olympic moments for sure. It was incredible!

U.S.A!!

We were the same way last night. Half the time I fall asleep, but I'm so glad I stayed awake for it. It was so fun to watch.
I felt the same way! We let Stella stay up late and watch with us and Stella was cheering "USA USA!" It was awesome. I love watching the U.S. beat the French at anything!
It was so amazing!!! I was at work and we all went into the lounge to watch and everyone was going crazy... It was so fun to see!
Can you believe that! That's why I love the olympics - amazing things like that happen all the time. So much for France thinking they were going to smash the US huh? ;)
I debated staying up to watch the relay and was SO glad that I did. I cannot believe the comeback to take Gold!! I was so happy/excited it was like I was there.
We still can't get over it! It was the BEST moment ever!! How do you like us now little French-man?! (I'm saying that in an accent too) LoL!!
