What a weekend!

We had a delightful weekend. Since Lily has been here, it has been harder for us to get out and do things. So, this weekend was exceptionally fun since we got out of the house and enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Friday: I went to This Is The Place Heritage Park with my mom and sisters and all the little ones. It was so fun! I haven't really spent time up there, but it is so well done and a delightful little place. Thanks Mom!

Saturday: Anton and I went to the zoo. I think the last time I went to the zoo was when I graduated from Jr. High. It was so fun to be together as a little family. It kind of felt like I was on vacation - which was soo nice. Later that night we were supposed to go to the Demolition Derby with some of our friends, but I had one of my terrible headaches so we didn't end up going. Too bad - those are so fun!

Antons mom and sisters came into town this weekend. Nicole got to meet Lily for the first time...and Lily got to meet her cousins Prentice and Truman! I know Prentice and Lily will have the best time together once they get a little older. Prentice is such a doll - I have never seen thighs like hers before - so adorable.

Today I took Lily for her two month check up. She is up to 10 lbs, 13 oz. Pretty good! Way to go Lily! She was smiling and gooing for the doctor - it was really funny! Sad thing is, she didn't realize the shots were coming. She got three shots, and I am not kidding I have never seen a baby cry harder. It was SO sad! Her face turned purple from screaming so hard, and I think she popped a little blood vessel in her forehead. Poor thing! Her little personality is coming out more and more - she is so much fun! One of my favorite things is now she is discovering her voice - and sometimes when she is smiling and gooing, she gets so excited she lets out a little squeal...too cute. And some other good news, she has only been getting up once a night now, and that is making a world of difference for me and Anton! So, it has been a fun and eventful few days....we are looking forward to another fun weekend up in Midway while we celebrate the 4th of July!

And on to the other babies in our house. The puppies! Honestly, they are so adorable. I can't get over how cute they are. I am going to be sad to see them go, but at the same time they are a lot of work. Again, if you know of anyone looking for a cute little puppy - let us know!

That is a very fun weekend! I miss exploring Salt Lake like that. Poor little thing about the shots. They just have to deal with everything! She is getting so big and even cuter every day. But I still think she looks so tiny.

I love your house in Midway! have a great time and take lots of pictures.

I love babies and their chubby thighs. Your little girl is so cute, I can't say it enough. AW.... I can't wait to have my own dark haired little baby. You won't have any trouble selling those adorable puppies! Hope you have a fun 4th of July.

Lily's legs are so scrawny looking in that picture. The shots are the worst thing ever to watch. It takes them a minute to realize the pain and boy do they scream! This is the Place is so cool too! The food place is one of Ryan's accounts and we have been up there a few times. There is so much to see! I am glad you were able to get out and about, it is so nice. People make fun of me because they always ask to babysit and I would rather have Isaac tag along. They are just too much fun.

Awwe poor little Lily! Those little bandaids make my legs hurt. I bet she has the cutest personality coming to life lately. I adore seeing her pictures and hearing about the cute things she does. It makes me that much more excited to get my baby here. And those Outfits!!! Dang they are cute with the clips and bows in her hair and all. I need these kind of fashion tips Liz, thanks.

I hate shots! I have to leave the room & be the heroine once they are over! I can't wait to meet her! Where are you registered bytheway? What are you really in need of? Ok and how much for a pup? Just seeing him makes me want him...not joking!!
