I knew the day would come, but it is hard to believe that it is really here. We are moving. There are so many emotions associated with moving. Leaving dear neighbors, and even better friends is hard. Leaving the house you were a newlywed in, and brought your babies home to is hard. Leaving all the hard work you put into the house is hard. But, with that being said, this move is right for our family. We feel so at peace, and so excited about the new chapter in our lives. We know our girls will thrive in the new neighborhood, and house. The only way to describe this move is bitter sweet. I have met some of my very dearest and best life long friends here...some my age, some not. I will still see them...that's what happens when you are close friends. But, not being down the street from them will be a change. This has been a happy home for us. I was looking through pictures to see if I could find a "before", and it was so fun to see all the fun memories that have taken place in this tiny home. There have been SO many - too many to count! I will always love this home. Always, always.

Amen! It is truly bittersweet. We have so many fun memories on Winward Drive...between both our houses, we had some pretty good times :)

I remember feeling the same way when we moved from Sugarhouse to Canyon Rim. But our new ward and neighbors have been so awesome. You will love it no matter where you are :) Best of luck in your new home. Are you staying in SLC or going out of state?
Lizzy! Where are you moving? Change is always a transition but you'll find it to be such a happy change. I'd love an update.
