I HATE potty training. I loathe potty training. It is the WORST JOB ON EARTH.
OK, I might be over doing it a little. But, it still sucks. I have been locked in my house for the last two days, trying to get Lilly trained. I figured we can't do much with the girls being sick anyway, so it was the perfect time to just stay home and do it.Yesterday was just a disaster. I am not even going to try and go back to yesterday. Today however, is a much better day. Lilly is SO proud of herself for being "a big girl" and using the potty! We have only had one accident today - which is pretty good. I am hoping tomorrow is even better!
Wish us luck!!

that's awesome she's getting it!
i had to finally make a potty chart where she got to put stickers on it. after every 4 or 5 squares i drew a picture of something she liked (a starburst, stickers, etc) and when she "landed" on that square she would get that prize. then at the very end of the chart she would get the "big prize" (carosoul ride at south towne mall, movie night . . .).
it worked awesome, so if you are feeling up to it (and she's not staying on track) - go for the chart!
GOOD LUCK!
(one more thing:
i let her have 2 stickers for going poop in the toilet and 1 for going pee - because heaven help me, if she would have pooped in her panties i may have lost it)
Poor Liz :(
I might just have to agree, it is the worst job ever! Hang in there, you will look back and wonder why you ever stressed so much about it, then comes time to train the next one. Ugh!
Good luck! We just did that. It took 3 days and he hasn't had an accident in 3 weeks. The best is when you are on the freeway, in a hurry to get somewhere and you hear "MOM!! I need to go potty." what do you do then? No matter how you slice it, it sucks!
Oh, but you will be so glad when you no longer have her diapers to change too!! Good for you!
