'Preggers' is what Anton likes to call me. Going to Costco when you are 'preggers' might not be the best idea. Why? Well let me just tell you what I purchased: As you know, it is only me & Anton right now, so buying a ten pound frozen lasagna just for the two of us probably wasn't the best idea in the first place, but it gets better. That ten pound lasagna sounded so good when I bought it, but let's face it, about 4 hours later I could have barfed at the thought of eating it. It is still in our freezer. Another item: frozen toquitos. When was the last time I bought toquitos? Never. Maybe my mom bought them for me when i was in Junior High. I have no idea why they sounded so good. The toquitos however, were a bigger success than the lasagna. At least I have had 4 of them. Still have 500 to go. Another strange thing...I love cake. Let's be honest, I love anything sweet. Cakes, brownies, cookies - I am a big fan. Not now. We had a birthday party for my grandma last night, and my mom had bought these fabulous cakes (I mean fabulous), and I shuttered at the thought of eating cake and ice cream. So, now let me get to my favorite food - I could eat it for every meal. Mashed potatoes with gravy. Basically anything with some form of potato in it seems to sit well with me. It must be the starch that is helping settle my stomach.
On another note - I saw baby brog for the first time yesterday!! so exciting! The baby is healthy and everything looks great, and in the end, all that matters is that the baby is healthy. That, and that I get my mashed potatoes. Kidding. :)

That's awesome! Note to self - get Liz potatoes!!! I'm so excited that everything is going so well!!! (Except for the not feeling well part of course).
I craved potatoes like no other too! I couldn't get enough of them. Especially the cheap potatoes from KFC. YUM! How did you get to see the babe so early? How exciting!
Oh yes, you can't MAKE the potatoes, you have to BUY them already made. The Store seem to be my fav right now, but you just gave me the idea for KFC! My doctor is just really cool - they do them just to make sure everything is on track and the baby is healthy! I loved it!
I have totally been there! When I was pregnant with Stella, I was craving Top Ramen (random, I know). So Cory went to Costco and bought one of those huge boxes full of Top Ramen. The problem was that after I ate about 2 of them, they started to make me sick. I couldn't even look at them, let alone eat them. I would walk into the kitchen and I could smell the Top Ramen even though it was all packaged and stuck up high on a shelf. I couldn't even go in the kitchen without wanting to vomit. We also bought those raw tortillas at costco that you cook in a pan. I still can't eat those to this day...
There are so many things that I can't eat now cause I craved them when I was pregnant.
Reading this brought back that feeling and made me want to puke! (no offense...)
by the way, you've been tagged!(see my blog)
If it makes you feel better I always get the 10 lb. lasagna from costco for me and Nando! It takes us about 5 days to eat it all. It is a good thing that Nando loves left overs! I craved sweets when I was pregnant. I would make trips to the krispy kreme that was 30 minutes away just to get a donut!
Liz,
That is some funny stuff. We will be sending potatoes for Christmas; I love Costco it is like heaven on earth
Why are potatoes the best, especially garlic mashed! I can't wait for Cheesecake to get here for that reason alone! K and we need pics of your growing belly up woman!
